Last week I posted an offer of housing on the Hurrican Housing site and have gotten a request for housing that reads:

Dear Hurricane Housing host,

You have received a housing request from a person displaced by Hurricane Katrina.

Name: GREG
City & State: NEW YORK, NY
Phone: (646) ***-****
Email: not available
The best way to contact this person is: phone

They sent you this message: I WAS STAYING WITH FRIENDS IN MISS. I WAS DOING PERSONAL TRAINING WHEN KATRINA HIT. I WAS ABLE TO GET OUT OF THERE WITHOUT ANY INJURY. I WAS ABLE TO GET GREYHOUND OUT TO NEW YORK WHERE I HAVE BEEN HOMELESS FOR OVER ONE WEEK. I CAN BE REACHED AT (646) ***-**** PLEASE CALL ME I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP. I AM A VERY NICE MAN, 34YR OLD COLLEGE GRAD(S.MISS.) I DONT DRINK OR SMOKE. IM INTO HEALTH AND FITNESS AND IM LOOKING FOR WORK.

Sounded like someone sincere about getting back on his feet so I did a quick Google search for his phone number and came up with his profile on 17 different male escort sites. I think I'm going to pass on this "evacuee."
